Key Responsibilities
 
 
Transaction Support
  • Support legal team on acquisitions, dispositions, financings, joint ventures, and other strategic transactions.
  • Organize and maintain transaction documentation and closing files.
  • Coordinate signature processes and execution of legal documents.
  • Assist with legal due diligence, document review, and data room management.
  • Track closing deliverables, post-closing obligations and other key project deadlines.
Contract Administration
  • Draft, review, and manage routine legal agreements, including, NDAs, service agreements and other operational contracts.   
  • Maintain contract databases and monitor key dates, renewals, and obligations.
  • Support implementation and administration of contract lifecycle management processes. 
Regulatory & Compliance Support
  • Assist with preparation and filing of regulatory and corporate compliance documents.
  • Support legal team with compliance initiatives, policies, and training programs.
  • Track licensing, registrations, and periodic filing requirements.
Outside Counsel Management & Litigation
  • Assist with outside counsel engagement and invoice management.
  • Interface with outside counsel on transactions. 
  • Manage document collection and production efforts.
  • Maintain and administer litigation and claims tracking systems.
Legal Operations
  • Maintain legal department templates, forms, precedent and knowledge management resources.
  • Manage electronic and physical legal files.
  • Track legal projects and deadlines.
  • Assist with implementation and optimization of legal technology solutions.
  • Support special projects and strategic initiatives as assigned.
  • Assist with legal entity formation and management.
 
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • 2-5 years of paralegal experience, preferably in-house, at a law firm, or within the real estate, private equity, asset management, or financial services industries.
  • Strong understanding of corporate governance and legal documentation.
  • Experience supporting complex transactions and managing large volumes of documents.
  • Excellent organizational, project management, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and legal document management systems.

This job is 5 days/week in office (Greenwich, CT).
